Dj, as a father perhaps you get to avoid the blessed trap that both lex and I revel and burn to. You are allowed to grow up if you want. Child says to mother, "when i grow up im gonna be a musician," mother replies, "well choose one, you cant be both..." (Grow up vs. be a musician.....i probably paraprased the parable slightly off.)
